Everyone knows who is the Father of the nation but who is the Mother of the nation? The answer to this question may not be known by many of us and it’s not even known by the history professor in the film as it's out of syllabus. DHH or or Dha in Gujarati means, dumb. This came in my Netflix feed, I looked up the trailer on YouTube, it looked fun. Friday night, I wanted to watch 99 songs but ended up watching this wonderful film and was glad that I watched it. This movie will remind you of your school days, especially the examinations. The characters, situation are so relatable that it puts an immediate smile on your face.

Regional film industry is really picking it up in terms of the content and production value. I spoke about production value in my earlier review about Hellaro. But specific to Gujarati film industry, they are bringing some great content which is getting well deserved recognition at international level.

One scene in a movie, where there is a voiceover of a kid writing a letter to the magician. If you know how a non-Hindi speaker Gujarati from Gujarat speaks Hindi, you will laugh until your stomach hurts and there are many scenes which will entertain you especially from the kid Bajrang. The Performances of all the kids feels natural and the conversations don't make them look like adults. At times, I felt the film pacing was a little slow but that can be ignored as it almost gets faded in the beautiful storyline. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Gujarati at the 65th National Film Awards. You can watch this movie on Netflix.
