“No Shortcuts, No Auto-tune”, this dialogue in the climax of the series gives a clear statement and I hope it reaches to the right people. It makes one think how much effort classical singers put just to master one raga over the years. Unfortunately they don't get much recognition (except for few) and I don't know if they earn that much money which an auto tune artist earns these days. There are 100+ million views in less than 24 hours. Although you cannot clap with one hand. There is demand for such music and that’s why there is supply.

I started this web series as I felt the trailer was good and I also love music so I should spend time on this one. There are 10 episodes wherein the initial few episodes were a bit irrational for some parts but thereafter it’s a binge watch wanting for more. There are some flaws, It's not perfect but the performance of all the characters is so good and the continuous run of classical music throughout the series makes you forget about these flaws or unwanted parts of the story.

Music itself is a character in this series. Very refreshing and classical is at its best. Big artists like Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali have lent their voices to this album in which all tracks are amazing. To experience this music, you will have to watch the series and the performances/visuals on these songs, which not just gives goosebumps but also starts to make you appreciate classical music more.

To conclude, I would recommend you to watch this for yourself and experience the beauty of love, sacrifice, heritage and more. Big shout out to Amazon prime for producing such content which brings classical to mainstream. The casting team did a fabulous job as each character was rightly placed. Again, all the performances were great, the climax gives goosebumps and makes you want that to continue forever.
