I am not going to write about the story, not because I never write about the story and I refer to the cinematic aspects of the film, but this time honestly I didn’t understand it, but that was expected :)

There is a dialogue in the film, “Don’t try to understand it, feel it” and that’s exactly what I went for. To feel it, to experience the cinematic magic of the magician. The movie is as expected Nolan's film, but this time he proactively called out the inversion, so no spoilers here.

There are sequences after sequences which will completely blow your mind and the climax will not let you blink your eyes even for a fraction of a second. You will not know who is sitting next to you, you will be completely immersed in film.

The music and the editing was not a regular Nolan combo of Hans Zimmer and Lee Smith but both the aspects didn’t let the magic diminish as the music by Ludwig Göransson was so intense and editor (Jennifer Lame) must have become crazy while editing the film. He continues with Hoyte van Hoytema for cinematography of the film who does phenomenal job in all his films.

Although Nolan believes in the “In Camera” effects and I believe he did pull the inversion “In Camera” but will have to wait to see more behind the scenes.

I would recommend you to watch this in IMAX as such movies are made for those screens and experience. While I write this, I am still in that fiction world with the music in my ears.
